Vacancy – Events Team
We are looking for someone to join our Events Team in this voluntary role. If you have a love for the EYTCC, events, and/or classic vehicles and would like to get involved with the organisation of event bookings – then please get in touch! Whilst this vacancy is only open to EYTCC Members, as per our constitution (see below) – you would be eligible after joining – more details here. The successful applicant will be involved with the process of Event Bookings Administration and Event Management, and when possible, participating in an organisational capacity, at our events.
This role would typically suit someone with a little time on their hands (i.e. retired / semi-retired) and an internet connection. Whilst minimal skills are required, an ‘organisational mind’, and basic computer skill are essential. Also, experience with working with spreadsheets, is desirable You would also be required to attend our monthly evening committee meetings when possible. No previous experience necessary – just plenty of enthusiasm and a loyal commitment to the role!

EYTCC Constitution – Membership
Membership of the club is unlimited by numbers and shall be open to all owners and enthusiasts of historic motor vehicles (including motor cycles and commercial vehicles), who are of an age that makes them eligible to hold a British driving licence.
To be a member the current year’s membership fee must have been paid, and the member must hold a current membership card.
A Spouse or Partner is considered to be a joint member. Fully paid up membership permits the member and spouse or partner one vote each at any AGM or EGM, where they are present.
Ownership of a vehicle is not a pre requisite for membership.
Committee Officers must be a current fully paid up member to continue in office.
Volunteer Event Marshals
Volunteering as an EYTCC Events Marshal, can be both enjoyable, and personally rewarding. And in some cases, you may only be helping for a couple, or few hours – leaving plenty of time to enjoy
the day. Yet you will have made a profound contribution to the club, and everyone’s enjoyment.
